I need help with the renovation of my bedroom
1) Painting the 4 walls.
- The walls have already been sanded / plastered and a first coat of paint (katto ja pohjamaali) has already been applied to them
- One wall has pipes / radiator + large window + wooden frame of the curtain
- Two walls have a door
- I have already 5.4L of paint (seinämaali) for the job, which should be enough for it
- I have already plenty of maalausteippi
2) Painting the ceiling.
- Currently has a very botched paint-job, so there's probably some cleaning up to do before painting

3) Cutting and laying laminated floor
- I already have 12.5m² of new floor laminate waiting to be placed
- After removing an old wardrobe from the bedroom, it's been revealed that the old floor had still one layer of plastic floor underneath, and a small area is missing, so we should find some acceptable solution to this, either by padding the missing rectangle so it matches the height of the rest of the floor or removing the plastic floor for the whole bedroom (see pictures)
4) Reinstalling the fixtures
- Door frames
- Pistorasiat
- Wall footings (seinäjälät?)
- The old fixtures were safely stored and can be reused
Minä myös puhun Suomea, mutta ei niin hyvää. Kyllä arkikieli sujuu hyvin, mutta en osaa teknista sanastoa joka kuuluu remontissa hyvin. Sitten valitettavasti pitäisi osata vähän Englantia.
