The house has been built 2011, from wood.
The balcony, that stands on pillars, needs new waterproofing, as well as a new railing.
The height of the balcony floor is approx. 2,75m from the ground, and the top of the railing is just about 4m from the wooden terrace underneath. The railing is about 1,25m high.
The length of the balcony is 2,75m, and width 1m approximately.
The work includes:
- Protecting the terrace underneath
- Dismounting the existing railing (wooden railing, a few screws holing it in place)
- Dismantling the waterproofing layer
- Exchanging some woods from the base layer underneath the waterproofing layer
- Re-building the railing out of wood (5 pillars 90x90, wooden beam 45x90 as handrail and additionally about 15 horizontal smaller planks underneath)
- Re-installing the waterproofing layer
- painting the railing with gray color
- (Optional) building a terrace deck (impregnated 28x120 planks) on top of the waterproofing layer

The dismounted railing and other waste material should then also be taken away.
The work should be carried out latest during first half of September 2024.
