The extractor fan in my kitchen stopped working. This is a stand-alone type, connected to the exaust in the wall. I have a replacement that I would like to install. Of course, if the contractor is able to fix the old one then this could be an option (the motor does not work, but I think it is only a connection issue, rather than a mechanical fault).
I am looking to do the work as soon as convenient, but my schedule is flexible. No electricity work is necessary, as both the old and new extractor have a plug that can be connected to the wall.
